The Malarkey are a 4-piece alt-rock quartet formed in Bristol, consisting of vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Louis Partington, guitarist and songwriter Will Bisp, alongside bass guitarist Jack Moate and percussionist Charlie George. The band provide dulcet and soothing tones, accompanied with thought-provoking lyrics, making for a blissful journey of indie nostalgia. Drawing influence from notorious rock pioneers including The Smiths, The Velvet Underground & The La’s, with a personalised twist of their own stories to tell.
Founding members Louis and Will formed The Malarkey in 2015 and have since been writing both collaboratively and separately, with years of experience working together and alongside other musicians. The band’s impressive rough ‘n’ ready collaborations have made features in local press Bristol In Stereo, Little Indie Blogs and Bristol Music Journal.
